Suitable for healthcare facility or domestic use. This is mains powered models with powered traverse. Three choices of lifting capacity are available. The Kerry Equipment Swift Fit range of slings are used with this hoist. More Details Tracks The tracks are fully customised and can be mounted within a room or throughout a house. A single track is mounted on the ceiling, constructed from extruded aluminium, with a white coating. The track can be installed in straight, intersecting, and curved lengths (XY). Hoist Unit and Spreader Bar The hoist unit which houses the motor and batteries attaches to the track and holds a spreader bar with three hooks at each end to hold the sling and occupant. The spreader bar is padded and suspended from the hoist unit by a lifting tape. The hoist features powered (battery or mains) raise and lower and either manual or powered traverse (forward or backward along the tracks). The user is suspended in a sling attached to a spreader bar. Slings Kerry Equipment Swift Fit range of slings are used with this hoist. The following styles are available: - General Purpose (with / without head support) - Full Body with Head Support / divided leg - Hammock Sling with commode aperture The slings are available in three sizes, feature attachment straps which are colour coded for size. Each sling is available in a closed weave synthetic fabric or open weave netting. Additional specific information regarding these slings is available. Controls Hand held on an extendable cord and attached to the hoist unit. They can be used by attendant or occupant. Series 100: Control unit has push button switches, each button has directional arrows. Series 200 and 300: Water resistant hand held control with an assist button (emits an audible alarm), soft touch push buttons with directional arrows. Power Source 2 x 12v batteries which are sealed, maintenance free and concealed within the hoist unit. Battery Recharging The hoist is returned to the end of the tracking for charging. Charging is fully automatic via 240 volt mains power. A green indicator light on the hoist unit indicates when batteries are charging.
